What is modern classical? Well,
at least for me. When I start talking about this genre, I often get
asked: but what is it like? Then I grab this list to show my favourites.
It features songs from the contemporary modern
classical/ambient/minimal/electro field that I think would suit this
playlist in a way (though I thought of the genre borders very flexibly).
It’s been never published before - I just saved songs time by
time since 2017 but stopped updating it for two years. Now I sat down
and did a huge update that I’m so far quite satisfied. This is like a
personal “best of” list, an always growing selection that will be
updated regularly. No surprise that many artists are featured with more
songs but I was just not able to pick only one favourite track when it
came to songs close to my heart.
